How much did your Yorkie weigh at 10 weeks? Hello everyone! :D I am curious to know how much your yorkies weighed at ten weeks old and how much they weigh now. My baby Layla turned ten weeks yesterday and she is at 1.7oz. Her vet said she would be about six or seven pounds full grown. He based this on his own Yorkie who was the same weight at 12 weeks and is now 4lbs. The breeders said she would be about 3 1/2 and the "charts" claim she will be 3-4.5lbs. I've also read that genetics play a large role and that each and every puppy is different. It really doesn't matter but I would just like an idea of what to expect! :) |
I got Apple, when she was 11 1/2 weeks old, and she weighed, exactly, 2 lbs...She's two now, and weighs 5 1/2 lbs...She would like to way 6 1/2 lbs., but her vet says to watch her weight...:p I had trouble keeping weight on her, 'till she was spayed, and then boom, she really started gaining weight.. |
I hope you mean 1.7 POUNDS  Chloe was about 2 pounds at 10 weeks I think and she is 5 pounds now. Armani was about 3 pounds at 10 weeks and he is 5.5 pounds now. Also, genetics do play a big part- some dogs grow faster at the beginning and others seem to have a "spurt" later- you can usually get a good idea by looking at the parents, and their parents, and their parents, etc. |
Lulu weighed 2 lbs when I got her at 14 weeks. I don't know what she was at 10 weeks. She is 7.5 months now & weighs 3 lbs 7 ounces. Rule of thumb is to double the 12 week weight...but not all babies follow that rule of thumb. ;) |
my lil one porscha was just 22 oz at 15 weeks old i got her on the day she was 15 weeks old she is now 15 months old and 3.4 pounds but very healthy and eats like a pig :xmastree: :candyc1: :santa: |
No idea, but she sure was tiny when we got her at 6 weeks. (That got your attention. She was 14 weeks old when we got her I believe) |
Memphis was 2.4lbs at 10 weeks. He is nearly 18 weeks now and is just shy of 5lbs. He's skinny though. He has no fat on him at all, not even puppy fat. Must be all the running around he does:) |
Max was 3.9 pounds at 11 weeks. |
Hehe, yes, I meant 1.7 pounds! |
Bazinga was 1.7 lbs at 10 weeks and now weighs 4.5 lbs at 7 months. |
Sophie was 1.9 lbs at 11 weeks and is now right at 4 lbs and is 9 months. |
Tinkerbell was 2.4 pounds at 13 weeks and at 7.5 months is 4.5 lbs. She was 4lbs a month ago so I think she is going through a growth spurt. |
Emma was 2.3 pounds at 12 weeks and she's now 3.5 pounds. She hasn't grown too much... Carmel was a 1.7 pounds and he's 5.5 pounds now... It all varies, you can't really "redict" how much they will get to. We were expecting Emma to be 5 lbs. |
Morgan was 15oz at 5 weeks, 1lb 5.7oz at 7 weeks, and 1lb 15oz at 13 weeks when I brought her home. She is now 4.5years old and weighs anywhere between 4.8 and 5.3lbs depending on what's in her belly and if she's pottied recently. LOL |
My Yorkie was 10 weeks old when we got her and she weighed 1 pound. She is almost 15 months old now and weighs 2.6 pounds. Her mom was around 5 pounds and her dad was 4 pounds. She is our first Yorkie and I had no idea that she would be this small. The whole litter was about the same size as her. IDK I think they are all different. My little one is healthy though she had a lot of blood work when I had her spayed to check for liver shunt and other disorders and all of it came back normal thank goodness. |
Teddy was 3 lb., 3 oz at 10 weeks old and he is now around 8 lbs as an adult. Barney was 2.6 lbs at 8 weeks old and is now 9.5 lbs. Daisy was 2.2 lbs at 8 weeks old and is now 7.8 lbs. |
Betty Boop was 2.8 lbs at 16 weeks and is about 5 lbs at 17 months. |
Sammy was 2.2 pounds at 16 weeks. He's 12 1/2 years old now and weighs 6 pounds. |
Jackson was 5lbs at 10 weeks. :) He's now a healthy sturdy 15lbs. |
Ziva weighed 2lbs 12 oz at 12 weeks. she weighed 6 lbs at a year. and 6lb 12 oz at 18 months.(I've been surprised how much she has grown in the last 6 months!, perfect size for a busy household and a big dog sister.) |
Troy was 2.5 Pounds at 12 weeks and stayed that weight until about 6 months when he was weighed at 3 pounds. At 9 months he was 3.5 and now at 18 months he's a solid 4 pounds. According to those weight charts he's was on target. |
At just over 11 weeks, Ally was 2 lbs. At almost 2 years (12/31/08), she weighs 3 lbs 2 oz. Picky eater. At 10 weeks, Tia was just over 8 oz. At 10 months, she is 5 lbs 3 oz. Loves to eat!!!! Tia was smaller but is much bigger. You just never know! |
Hot Rod was 1.57 lbs at 15 weeks when we got him, he is now 3 1/2 years old and is 5.3 lbs. Maggie May was 2 lb at 11 weeks and is now 2 1/2 and is 5.2 lbs. The breeder told us to expect her to be around the 4.5 lbs or so and she was pretty close. |
Bella was 1.9 pounds at 10 weeks. She is now 3.14 pounds at 36 weeks. She has followed the growth chart pretty closely. Says she should top out at 4-4 1/2 pounds and she is right on track. |
My Coco was also 1.7 lbs at 10 weeks old. At 5 years old she is now 4.7 lbs. Beckham was 1.8 lbs at 5 months old and at 11 months old now, he weighs 2.8 lbs. |
Trixie waighted almost two pounds at 14 weeks. 3 pounds at six months. Then she had a growth at 32 months. She is now 4 lbs, but she does not look weak. She actually looks very muscular and healthy |
Kairo weighed 1 lb 14 oz at 9 weeks, and now at 21 weeks he's at 2 lb 11 oz. The vet says he should be about 5 lbs as an adult. The chart has him only at 4 lbs but since it's not truely accurate I'm hoping he'll be a bit bigger like the vet said. |
axel weighed 2.9 at 12 weeks now he is 14 months weighs 5 lbs 4 ozs |
My puppy is 20 wks old and weighs 2.4lbs (weighed 1.8lbs at 10 wks). According to the breeder, the dam is 4lbs and the sire, 3.5lbs and expect Penny to weigh around 3 to 4lbs. |
Sofia was 1Lb at 10 weeks and at 18 months she is 2.8lbs. Mia was 10oz at 10 weeks and is now at 16 weeks she is 1Lb 3 1/2 oz. |
