| Silvering Ok is it normal for Yorkies to start to turn silver on the top of the head then work its way down the neck to the back? It seams to be what Snickers is doing now. Its been on her head for awhile and its going down her neck now. She is still really tiny and is still around 2 - 2 1/2 pounds and is about 5 months now. Sorry I havent been on much lately- school & homework has been getting most of my time lately, I cant wait till its out next month and I get a least a month off before its back to the grind again. WHY DID I DECIED TO GO BACK !! LOL

| She is going through a normal and desirable developement called "breaking silver." She will turn lots of colors before she gets her adult coat!

| ceeby is three months old. His hair on his head is mostly white with some black on the ends. It was all black. Well, actually, I think dark brown. Today I noticed down his back where his part is, it is turning white. I look at him every day and wonder what color he will end up. he is supposed to be blue and gold. |

| Sounds normal to me. Tucker's already past 2 and his back is as black as ever. his neck and around the base of his tail are silverish, and the roots on his back are barely turning, but other than that his head, chest, and legs have just goldened.

Wyatt's is exactly like this and he is 3 1/2 months old. He has been like this for the past few weeks. The top of his head is a lot more silver now.

| Snickers is suppose to be a Blue and Gold also, she is gold black and silver right now. So I am sure she will end up that way when she is done changing colors. Just wasnt sure it was this soon when they started changing.

| I noticed the same thing about Vinnie about two weeks ago. It started on the top of his head and now it's showing up more on his back. Wow! I am not sure what color he should be at adulthood but i really love the black and tan. But oh well we all change as the days go by. |
