YorkieTalk Newbie! | My max My yorkie max is 10 pounds his parents were quite small with their ears up and and dark hair on top some people wonder if Max is a yorkie but i met his parents and he has a lot of yorkie on him i am just wondering....?????? |

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Although the standard is no more then 7lbs it is not unusual for a yorkie to be larger then the 7lbs. My yorkie Poppy is 6.5 months old and already weighs around 6lbs so she too will be out of the standard.

| We must have the same Max I have a 10 pound Max who's parents were much smaller with up ears. People ask me what he's mixed with, and like i said in another thread "he's mixed with love".

| Chase's parents were small (the mom was 7lbs, and the dad was 4lbs), and their ears are up. Chase is my loveable 15lb floppy ear boy |

| Tia Maria's parents were both under 7 pounds with uppie ears. Her sister from the same litter is 6.5 pounds. Tia is 17.5 pounds with floppy ears. Go figure! |
