				   | If I remember correctly, they see better in the dark. Makes sense to me considering they were bred to be ratters. My boys love to go walking in the dark, maybe because they see more. |

				   | Oh, this is a good idea. Walking in the dark, it makes sense to me because its dark when I get home.

				   | I've read that dogs can see four times better than humans in the dark.

				   | Dr. P's Dog Training: Canine Vision Is really cool explaining dog vision with graphics. Dogs actually see better at night that cats.

				   | I like to think the green eye shine is their night vision.

				   | Gypsy has to have the lamp on before she climbs up the ramp to get into bed. She will sit at the bottom and whine till we turn on the light.

				   | Dogs have great night vision. A lot of hunting dogs are used at night, and of course Yorkies worked in the mines. Humans have pretty feeble night vision by comparison. It seems to me most predators have good night vision and canines are predators. |

				   | I was concerned about them not seeing well in the dark, so I would leave a little light on in my bedroom so they could see and not fall off the bed! It's good to know they don't need a light!
