				 | There are no words to describe these thingS (cannot call them people). It is also my worst nightmare, a house two doors away was broken into recently and I dread if it would happen here as the dog would be the first to be pinched. Look out for adverts for puppies for sale, they are that low, they could be advertising them already. Keep us posted, I do pray that they are returned

				 | I have the same fear. We had one of our girls taken and returned a week later so now if we know people are coming over or our neighbors are having a get together I keep my little ones in the house. I hate that they have to be cooped up but it's not worth taking the chance on losing them. I can always replace my things but not family. |

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Yesterday I took it upon myself to contact the owner, Samantha, to ask if they had any leads on their stolen pups. I told her about YT and sent her the link to the sticky on searching for lost or stolen dogs. Her reply: "Thank you so much for all your help! At this point all we can do is continue to spread the word and hope for the best. We are doing everything possible to try to find who is responsible so we can get our babies back. Hopefully they will try to sell or get rid of them and someone with a heart will return them. Please let all others of the forum know that we greatly appreciate their contribution!" I know a lot of you scan Craigslist and other places where Yorkies are sold and keep an eye on the local animal shelters for dogs that can be rescued, so I'm posting a photo Samantha sent me of her missing Chiqui. Who know? Maybe some sharp-eyed YT member can help Samantha's family have a happy ending to this so sad story. |

Will keep an eye out for Chiqui! I live in CA though...so I think the chance is slim. However, I always look up yorkie ads so I will still keep an eye out.

				 | I'm glad you contacted her and let her know that we are concerned. I do scan CL for stolen pups and am trying to keep an eye out for her. I'm north of her, but you just never know. |

I feel the same way... Couver hates strangers, so it eases my fear a bit knowing that he would not walk up to a strange person who was trying to steal him. Once, I had my brother in law come over to grab Couver to watch him for the day, and Couver does not know him well and he freaked out and tried to bite him, ran from him and even pooped himself (which made me realllly sad ) so I know he wouldn't let just anyone pick him up. I hope they are eventually able to at least find the momma

				 | With Yorkie puppies easily going for $1,000 and up, people have to be so careful about about advertising puppies in the newspaper, Facebook, even forums like this. A link to a website with your name and contact information is the same as providing a map to would be thieves. |
