Our Walmart used to have the doggie ice cream treats (lactose free) but since their "reorganization" that is yet another product I think went by the wayside. I heard they have a $ per shelf space rule and if a product cannot bring in the $$ they get rid of it and go to another.

Oh thank you for this! I will try it to see if she likes it...if not, I told my husband that I know he will eat it if she won't.

I always give Jackson licks of ice cream when I eat it.

As long as it's not chocolate, of course. In the summer, we often go to this ice cream stand and I get him his own tiny little cone and vanilla ice cream, lol.

Chloe loves vanilla ice cream from Dairy Queen. She gets a small cone and I let her go at it, her face is white when she comes up for air! This was her treat for National Doggy Day this year.

The ice cream stand is a good place for socialization, too. A local ice cream place here will give your dog a tiny vanilla soft serve for free. It's about an inch and a half--so cute!

My poor hubby cannot eat ice cream (in any form) without Neo jacking him up! I wish everyone could see what goes on. If David is on the couch Neo will get up behind his head, put his paw on his shoulder and growl and whine in his ear! This goes on until dh gets tired of the grumbling and gives in to our little begger! This happens EVERY time!

And we thank you for the sweet compliment. No, I don't have any tiny girls. All three of my Yorkies are over 7 pounds.

we took the family to helen ga and walked around and got ice cream and gave axel a few licks, he was deathly ill for 3 hours we were in the middle of a vacation spot, and I freeked out! thank god hubby was there to keep me calm, I really thought he was going to die before we got him home...I never a saw a little dog this sick! he heaved so hard I was hurting he did get over it by time we made the trip home...thank goodness...but took him another day to fully recover...so i learned the hard way..please be careful out there what you give your little ones. and axel only had about 4 or 5 licks of my cone!
