A fun Yorkie survey I created!

1. What is your yorkie(s) name and Age? Jackson (7 mos) and Jillian (6 mos)

2. Why did you choose a yorkie? Fell in love with the ones around me. My friend has a pair and a neighbor I use to live near. Then I did some research and decided they were definitely what I wanted.

3. Your Yorkies Favorites? sitting on the cushion next to me in the evening; ANY toy that squeeks, and ear or belly rubs.

4. What does your yorkie dislike? my neighbor and their nails cut.

5. What is your yorkie's favorite treat? diced chicken pieces

6. Groomer or Home Spa? Both. They have both been to the groomer. But I do "maintenence" in between visits.

7. Mommys babie or does your beau get all the attention: Mostly Mommies babies but that is because my DH has a Papillon that thinks her place is on his chest.

8. Have you and your baby traveled? If so, where? Not Yet.

9. Do you dress your love or choose not to? Oh yes. They have sweaters, shirts, dresses, a raincoat and bows. I even have a pair of Christmas leggings and a pair of shoes.

10. And lets be honest, how much do you REALLY spoil your baby?
According to my DH, TOO much. But I love it. I am a careful shopper and so it does not cost me a fortune but I think they should look as vauleuable and priceless as they are. My two do not fight me so I am able to dress both up. So far they have 2 matching outfits.

11. I am curious how many out there sleep with their babies?
Mine sleep in their crates. They are not fully potty trained yet.
Hopefully one day they will get to sleep with Mommy. They seem to like to go into their crate and settle down for the night though.

11. I am curious how many out there sleep with their babies?

2. Why did you choose a yorkie? I've grown up with them, but they are "my breed"

3. Your Yorkies Favorites? Bailey LOVES his ball, going for rides and taking walks!

2. Why did you choose a yorkie? I had joined a Yorkie group years ago and just fell in love with them.

3. Your Yorkies Favorites? Chew toys, bully sticks, balls, squeakie toys...

4. What does your yorkie dislike? I don't think there is anything he doesn't like.

5. What is your yorkie's favorite treat? Pieces of chicken and liver treats

8. Have you and your baby traveled? If so, where? Went from Upstate NY to Florida
and back in the SUV. He did great...maybe because he is from Florida!

9. Do you dress your love or choose not to? He has tee shirts, pjs, coats, boots, sweaters, raincoat.

10. And lets be honest, how much do you REALLY spoil your baby? Never thought I'd spoil a pup like I do Bentley...I just love him to bits!

2. Why did you choose a yorkie? When I started researching dogs, I only knew I wanted a smaller dog. I had a couple toy breeds in mind, but when I met Lexi I knew she was the one.

3. Your Yorkies Favorites? Toys that flap, her bed, T.V., playing fetch, licking the inside of a dogs mouth.

8. Have you and your baby traveled? If so, where? Lexi has done lots of camping and small trips to British Columbia. No airplane travels (yet).

10. And lets be honest, how much do you REALLY spoil your baby? She is definitely spoiled more than the average dog, but not as much as some of the dogs on YT!

2. Why did you choose a yorkie? My ex boyfriend at the time, had a yorkie mix, and just so happened that my old neighbor bred yorkies, and when I first saw Fiona, I fell in love with her, and had to have her! she is the best dog in the world! =)

3. Your Yorkies Favorites? Being outside, laying with mommy, and then leaving mommy for when daddy gets home, playing with honey, playing with all her toys, and eating!

4. What does your yorkie dislike? She hates getting a bath, nail cuts, and getting brushed! I swear, she should have been another breed!

5. What is your yorkie's favorite treat? Pig ears, bones, and cheese.

6. Groomer or Home Spa? I was a grooming assistant for 3 yrs, so I groom her myself!

7. Mommys babie or does your beau get all the attention: Fiona is very independant, however, with her getting older in age she is more of a cuddler now, and loves me, but when Daddy gets home, she is all over him......

9. Do you dress your love or choose not to? We have lots of outfits for her, but I don't take her out wearing outfits!

2. Why did you choose a yorkie? I lived with my sister for a time about 20 years ago and I fell in love with her little "Princess"

3. Your Yorkies Favorites?
Maddie: running around the pool following the polaris anticipating getting sprayed and trying to catch its "tail"
Monkey: air conditioning

4. What does your yorkie dislike?
Monkey: having his sleep disturbed and Maddie getting too much attention!
Maddie: loud noises

5. What is your yorkie's favorite treat? green beans; carrots

7. Mommys babie or does your beau get all the attention: I admit that Monkey spends too many evenings in my hubby's lap and I was jealous which began our talk of getting a second yorkie and then along came Maddie

8. Have you and your baby traveled? If so, where? We don't travel much but have been to South Padre. Monkey really likes the beach... water not so much

9. Do you dress your love or choose not to? We do occasionally for special occasions but mostly only dress them up for warmth

Sookie (5 1/2 months), and Bella (4 months)

Wifey chose a yorkie, then I chose a second one to keep company of the first.

Both love naping in our bed. Both love chicken with rice and both like playing in the yard.

Oral Medicine! Blowdryer!

5. What is your yorkie's favorite treat?
Apple crisps treats (forgot the name)

Home spa...for now.

I would say wifey gets 40% of the attention vs. me getting 60%

8 hour drive to Reno Nevada from Southern Cali.

They are beyond spoiled, an example is that they have their own custom made bed with a memory foam mattress, and headboard to go along. (real mattress too, custome made to their size)

2. Why did you choose a yorkie? I'm an apartment dweller, so size was a factor. I wanted a dog that would be an "alarm" but not a guard dog and a little companion for me and my daughter. Yorkie fit the bill.

3. Your Yorkies Favorites? He loves chicken apple treats. He has a guilty pleasure for McDonalds french fries.

4. What does your yorkie dislike? Troy hates baths

5. What is your yorkie's favorite treat? Mcdonalds French Fries

7. Mommys babie or does your beau get all the attention: My beau does even though my beau isn't a dog person they watch ESPN together. Male bonding time!

8. Have you and your baby traveled? If so, where? Well technically, we do road trips. All across the US. Haven't flown together yet but that time is coming
9. Do you dress your love or choose not to? Troy has a few choice items hoodie, sweater but nothing frilly. I've got a thing for collars so he gets one to match just about anything (seasons, outfits, sports teams, etc)

Troy is spoiled but also understand he's still a dog. He gets special rubs, snuggles, trips out and things like that. He's our companion dog and little fur member of the family.

I didn't, my wife did...now I'm hooked.

Laying in the sun, laying in our laps, belly rubs, TREATS, playing with Princess Boo Boo Kitty, playing chase in the house.

Water in the face! Messing with their toes, zerberts on the belly

You name it. You just have to call it a treat.

Groomer, but we are transitioning soon.

Pretty spread out....usually depends on who has the couch.
