| Really NERVOUS here!! So, Zhoie goes to vet in the morning to get her yearly teeth cleaning. I'm just so nervous about it, even though she had it done a 1 yr. This has been really bothering me bad today! Just wanted to express my anxiety with those who understand the love we all share for our precious babies.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I know how nervous you must be. My vet always calls me as soon as they are out of surgery because she knows what a wreck I am. I will keep Zhoie in my prayers for a safe procedure.

| I don't know if this will help you or not... but this is what I do. I get it in my head that we are going for bloodwork in the morning. I don't make the decision of having the dental until the results of the bloodwork are in. So I trick my mind a little and put the focus on the bloodwork the day before, and as bloodwork isn't as scary, I tend not to get as upset as I do if my focus is only on the dental. Silly, I know, but it does help me. Sometimes.

| Sending good vibes you and Zhoie's way! Out of curiosity, why does she need a yearly dental? I've never had one for Jackson so I'm just curious!

| I get the same way. That anxiety starts in on me, too. I can't help it, either. She is always just fine though and then we have white teeth and it's forgotten about until next time.

I know for Zhoie, she doesn't like to chew anything, no bully's or anything like that, she loves all fuzzy, soft toys. So, no help cleaning her teeth there. I brush them everyother day (not that she likes it, but it's must for me) but I can see a tan shade of tartar on the outside of her jaw teeth. I have tried and there nothing that will fit in between her jaw teeth and the jaw itself.

And of course, this would be the night she decides she doesn't want to eat her dinner, so now nothing until tomorrow evening. The little buttzy, just added to my stress, lol.

| Zhoie will be in my prayers tonight for a safe teeth cleaning tomorrow morning. Try not to worry too much. I'm sure she will be fine. She will have some pretty white pearls to show off tomorrow. Let us know how it went when you get back home.

I just wasn't sure if it was advised to get one even before teeth problems start, etc. Jackson is 2 and has a tiny bit of tarter on his canine tooth, but the Petzlife took it right off. Otherwise, his teeth are shiny white. So I did not know if I should be looking into it , etc.
