Harley met his first cat at the vet, when he was only a pup (whenever his second set of shots would be). He was fine, and loved him... we moved last month, and my land lord, has 6 cats, so she asked if I could bring him over to meet them. The cats loved him, and he was really well behaved. I think if you socialize early, you'll be fine. (unless you have an overly aggressive cat).

I have two cats and two yorkies and they get along great. Couver mostly ignores the cats and Khloe loves to jump on their faces and kiss them.

1. When we first got Couver.
2. Couver playing with Beau in the cat tree
3. Couver cuddling with Tiger
4. Riding in the car together

I have three cats, one is eleven yrs and the other two are one yr. The older cat tolerates Lizzy and the other dogs. The younger two get along pretty well with the dogs. Lizzy is the only dog that acts like she's seen a long lost friend everytime she sees the cats and runs up to them and will kiss their face. It's really cute!

Mia loves going to her brothers house to see his cats. There is only 1 that wants to stalk her and I keep telling him it is not nice to stalk and hunt your aunt...

Macy loves cats. My grandparents have one and every time we brought Macy over, she would just start running to try and find the cat. The cat doesn't like her much, but she doesn't seem to care, lol.

I have 2 ktties Milo & Baby and 1 yorkie Bella, they all get along great...they are the best of buds

I would upload some pic's for you to see but they are to large

I own a cat, and him and Piper get along just fine. It is actually nice sometimes because they play, where as with Duke being so big, doesn't really get to play with Piper.

Funny story though.

My parents have 4 cats. Two are scared of dogs- both Duke & Piper, but what makes me laugh is that the other 2 are totally fine with Duke (115lb GSD) but are scared of Piper (4lb Biewer)...explain that one!

I think it all depends on the personality of both your dog and cats.

Hate to be the oddball here but I have 3 cats & 3 yorkies! The cats keep to themselves & my yorkies bark & chase them away all the time anytime they come near me or my husband! Even if they are just passing through the room they bark & chase them. My cats never swat at them which totally confuses me. They are definately afraid of them not the other way around.

i have 5 cats one is akitten about the same age as my yorkie . they play together all the time. the older cats are just getting to tolarate him so every thing is fine here
