| Traveling Internationally with Yorkie I am researching what I need to do if I were to take Trixie with me to see my family in the Netherlands this Christmas. Has anybody traveled with their yorkie internationally (especially from Europe)? I know what I need to take her with me into the Netherlands. But I am wondering what kind of paperwork I need to take her back into the United States. Does anybody know?

| The sites below has all the info you need to go to Netherlands with your Yorkie. Good luck! Q. Do you have a quarantine period for pets in the Netherlands? A. If you can provide all the appropriate paperwork upon arrival, your pet will not be quarantined. However, if your pet does not travel with the required documentation, your pet might be subject to examination by a Dutch veterinarian at Schiphol and could be sent back or quarantined, if necessary. Please be aware that all costs involved are for the pet’s owner. http://www.netherlands-embassy.org/a...f=AR00001142EN http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dq/animal.htm http://www.dogfriendly.com/server/tr...lcustoms.shtml |

| I've never travelled internationally with my dog. I was planning to take her to my hometown but changed my mind because they quarantine all dogs (with or without paper) for a month. I was told by my vet to take the latest vaccination card with me when I travel with my puppy. |
