| For all the cupcakes out there... a question So "cupcake" owners... I've discovered that puppy-proofing for these little ones is hell. As many of you know I've moved into a new apartment a while back, and we're still not set up for Harley to be free in the place (mainly cause of the mice and bug problems) his room is a safe haven with no traps. We can only have him in our bed, as our bedroom has bait and traps too. ugh. So this means I have two months to get this place in tip top shape so that when Harley can be free, he doesn't get in too much trouble. Tips? He loves to play under the radiators (not good), as well he can get under couches/chairs, etc. we're buying a new couch so I've set the criteria that it can't be open underneath... but I don't have a clue what else to look for, he was always supervised in our old place. He's housebroke now so confinement will be minimal once this place is fully up and running. Interested to hear what ya'll have to say. Harley is 3lbs and super tiny and agile.

| I sent the reclining couch and the matress/ boxspring that Ziva got into to college with my son. Those were the worst hiding places that we could not get Ziva out of- the boxspring was a nightmare I had to remove the whole underneath dustcover! She has gotten better as she has grown or maybe we know all her special hideout places! Her bell goes right back on after her bath, she is too quick and quiet without it. |
