| Does Reese need a friend? Hello I am new to YT, so I will tell you all a little about my little Reese I have one yorkie named Reese, she is 3 yro. and the previous owner had to give her up along with a chiuahuah when she and her husband divorced. I got Reese about a month ago and she has adjusted very well, she loves to cuddle, go on walks, and ride with me in the car, but she doesn't play with me or any toys and I am worried that she might need a friend. Also she is alone all day while I am at work Mon-Thurs and my neighbor told me that she cries all day while I am gone, should I look into getting another yorkie so she will have a playmate? |

| Maybe she's missing her chihuahua friend. Have to taken her to doggie parks to see how she interacts with other dogs? Or do you know anyone with a small dog that she can have play dates with? I would do these things first before getting another yorkie. What if it doesn't work out?

| Today I took her to friends house while I was at work so she wouldnt be so lonely and she has a Pomeranian and said they played all day, so it sounds like she might miss having a doggy companion |

| Aww...is that something you can do regularly? Sounds like she's not used to being lonely. There are doggie day cares around too, she might benefit from something like that if you friend can't doggiesit on a regular basis.

| When I got my Ollie, he was 6 months and he was still with 1 brother, 1 sister and his parents... So he tends to get a little lonely sometimes. I just can't fill that void with our playtime the same way they can... So we make playdates as often as we can... I don't really have a "dog" park around... So I just try to do playdates with friends that have dogs!!

| Careful though, because sometimes when you team puppies up they like to make trouble! When I first got Joey (he was almost 2) he was teaching my lab Seirra bad behavior. I spent a lot of time training her, and felt like it all went out the window when Joey came around. It has been so hard trying to train Joey-he seems to be set in his ways. Alone, he is fine and she is perfect. But team them up...and oh boy!

| Have you tried leaving a radio on when you go out? leave it on a talk show station so your dog will hear voices. When I'm going to be gone all day I leave the radio on for my boy. |
