| Best to ask around for a local referral. The better groomers usually know of a good pet photographer and some even schedule them to use their facility from time to time. I am planning on having a group portrait done of my 3 as soon as Annie grows up some.

| Thanks Debra will have to ask my groomer, wasnt sure if wal-marts had any thing to offer or any other large store. Would be nice to have some of these larger stores to with some specials, besides Pets mart etc. Might call J.C.Penny's see if they still have a photograpy dept for pics and if they do pets?

| Actually, I think Walmart might do pet portraits. I used this site: Pet Portrait Studios in ... and put in my zip code. The first one to come up was Walmart Portrait Studios. Not sur ehow much experience they will have working with pets though. I think you would have better luck with a private photographer that either specializes in pets or at least has experience working with them. Might cost more but results should be worth it. Another place to check are the dog clubs in your area. They will probably have some photographers to refer.

| I know our Petco does it here. However, I must say that I wasn't real excited with my experience. They offer one 8 x 10, two 5 x 7, and wallets for $9.95.

| I went to PicturePeople too at my mall, and they did a great job. They can be expensive, but if you order a couple of different pictures you can probably take them to Costco or Target to get more printed for cheaper.

| Try to look online maybe craigslist or some photography forums to find a local photographer and support him/her. These are some sample shots I took of Belle to get her used to staying still. They are straight out of the camera so I couldn't really edit to make them look better. |

I do a lousy job of trying to take a nice pic of the furkids, that's why I need a profession. Mine will sit still on command, its just the photographer not doing them justice lol
