| I Have to Share This I have to share this story. This happened today. This afternoon, I was outside a store with my yorkie Tatiana. I was hand-feeding Tatiana her lunch. A man walked by, took one look at Tatiana, and asked his friend,"Is that a toy or a real dog??" I overhead this, and giggled. Of course, Tatiana is a real dog. She's eating from my hand, and moving around. A stuff animal wouldn't do that! I guess Tatiana may look like a toy to him, as she's tiny (about 3 lbs). I thought that man's reaction was funny. |

| hahaha, that's actually what my dad calls Kaji. He's just a stuffed animal sitting on the bed all day while I'm at work. My dad calls me magic, because as soon as I walk in, my stuffed animal comes to life.

| Ha Ha, I have the same problem myself. One of my Yorkies is 5 lbrs and my other one is 3 lbrs. When people see them they first think that my little one is a puppy, then I tell them that she is 1 and a half year old and then they wander if there's something wrong with her and she didn't grow up like my other one. Any way they are both great on making new friends and to put a smile in anybodies face when they see them. Maria |

☺Farrah☺ Donating Member | Cute story. I'm glad you are lighthearted and didn't take offense. I had Farrah at karate class recently and a guy I know walks in and says "hey, you caught one". Well I think it was very funny and to know this guys humor it totally fits. : )

| Guys! I always thought my Muffin looked like a stuffed puppy when she was asleep - it was the way she slept on her side. She didn't look real!

| Thanks for replying, Everyone. Nautilus1900, I have the same experience with Tatiana. People always assume she's a puppy. I've been asked,"How many months is she?" Imagine their surprise when I tell them Tatiana is three years old. She's an adult dog. Also, like many yorkies, Tatiana has that baby doll, teddy bear face that makes her look puppy-ish. I guess everything about Tatiana may be misleading. Is she a toy? Is she a puppy? LOL |
