| I spoke to soon! haha Well, I spoke to soon! haha Little miss Taylah decided she wanted to go potty at 2:15 Am this morning, and woke me up by biting my NOSE!! She's sooo funny. Then we got out there, and when its dark like that I always have a flash light so I can keep up wth her cause she blends so well in the grass and dark and is so frisky..lol. Well, she decided that anywheres other than the light is where she wanted to be! So yup.. I was chasing the little miss naughty around the yard at like 2:20 AM this morning... Boy was that fun! :P

| My husband is a cop so for security purposes, our house is lit up like a runway.. When I turn the outside lights on at dark, it looks like daylight.we can see the entire yard and Tucker doesn't even know it's dark...I bet my neighbors hate me!! lol... |

| We live out where there are no street lights, no city "glow", and lots of critters. When I take Susan out after dark (or before daylight) I ALWAYS have her on a leash, carry a flash light, turn on the motion sensitive lights on the side of the house, turn on the porch light and the lights in the living room because it has a high cathedral ceiling with large hanging lights and three undraped windows way up high that light pours out of into the dark in the front. And I only take her where the walking is easy and there are no bushes for critters to hide behind. In short, I don't like to take her out in the dark. It's a little scary. But the stars are magnificent. I've never seen such stars before. Venus and Mars are clearly visible. Mars is always pink and Venus is often blue-greenish. I'd forgotten what the Milky Way looks like, but now I see it almost every night. So there are compensations. I just hope I never fall and lose my glasses in the dark! |
