| Guess where me and Poppy are going!!! So i felt guilty not being able to afford to join the GE as we live in England and the rules are a bit crazy. So i felt really guilty that Poppy would not get to take part and get spoilt so i enrolled her into Puppy training classes on wednesday, for 5weeks of fun hehe! I am so excited there are a few yorkies on the course so it should be really interesting. I am sure me and Poppy will bond even more doing this together. I might even drag OH along too for a bit of family bonding time hehe! Cant wait i am so excited! I hope Poppy likes it

| I'm sure you will both enjoy it, and you're right, it will strengthen your bond. Training my dogs always cracks me up, they are so funny. Good luck!

| Ear mites can be taken care of with one application of "stuff". My Zoey had mites from the breeder and it took just one app to get rid of them. Have fun at puppy class. Beware of the larger pups jumping on poppy - this happened to my first yorkie and she never did get over it. Never liked dogs but cats were ok. |

| Yay Poppy! That is awesome! I always love to see owners & dogs bonding through training... I truly believe it makes for a happier pet and happier human as well. I've always trained Jackson myself but last week, we started agility classes and I must say I just love it. It's great to train with other dog lovers and it's already building his confidence, I can tell. I'd love to do a intermediate training class just to get the experience even though he already knows the commands, I think it'd be a great refresher. Please let us know how Poppy does and show pictures!

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Quote:
Both are being treated but they could still pass them between each other. They have both finished their course of ear drops now so I am going to ring the vet tomorrow morning and make an appointment for him to check their ears. Well the family who we bought her from had a rottwieler with a bad ear infection, my vet said the rotty probably had ear mites too and had passed them on to the yorkies, who then passed them onto their pups. She used to shake her head and scratch her ears alot, she would scratch her ears until she cried. They are very contagious so any frequent scratching and I would take her to get checked!

Senior Yorkie Talker | That is so great !! I would be so excited to! I live in a fairly small town so we don't have anything like that for our pups. We don't have a dog park, we have one dog grooming place in our town, we don't have a dog supply store like petso or petsmart around here. and we don't have any puppy classes !! If we did I would be itching to get him in lol .. !! I'm so excited for you ! keep up posted !! |
