♥ Catherine My Love ♥ Donating Member | I don't know where those numbers come from - I would say that 30% of commercial breeders are in Missouri for sure. Not sure how you would say for sure anything about the number of "puppy mills". Lately, the busts have been greeders whose so called kennels were unlicensed and no one knew about them. There is no way to know how many "puppy mills" there are here.... looking just in a a 50 mile radius from us, Missouri has to be more than 30%. It's really sad. DO NOT buy from Puppy Mills and PLEASE, support rescue organizations!!!!

| I believe that they are saying 30% of REGISTERED mills registered with the USDA are from Missouri. Then like you said add in all the others that are not on their list. There was another article that said in Missouri alone there are 200,000 dogs in mills. That is sick!
