| On average how long for face hair to grow? Lulu got her first cut today & her face is too short for me. She looks so different & I'm just wondering about how long until it grows back.

| I feel your pain! This just happened to Rocco about 3 weeks ago and I was shocked with the drastic change (although I was crystal clear I wanted him trimmed!) I don't have an answer for how long it will take the hair to grow, but I do know it won't be a big deal once you've had a few days to become accustomed to the change. Let's face it, you just can't trim the cute off of these little furbutts!!

| Well if the face hair is like to body hair, really quick. I had Sophie groomed in a modified Schnauzer cut on 8/30 and she really could use another. Only because the weather is turning cold I am not getting her cut way back again, but we have had to trim her face already. Like everything, if you want it long it will grown slow and vice versa. |

| I was very clear in what I wanted & even brought in a picture. I really like our groomer, though. Next time I'm going to ask that her face & legs be left long. I'd rather it be a little longer than I wanted than shorter. Her face used to look full, now it looks narrow. I do agree that you can't trim the cuteness off of them though. Lulu is still cute as can be... Here's a before & after.

| I brought home 2 year old Jesse on August 8th, I've had him for 2 months. His hair was cut very short, I can't wait for it to grow and it is growing quite fast! Taken August 16th Taken October 8th My other Yorkie Bailey has a very sloooow growing coat

| Ahhhh....I like her cut. It looks neat and she looks very cute. I tend to keep Copper short because I like it better than the shaggy look. Good luck with what ever you decide!

| Wow, I can tell you it's all about the pups' makeup...I had Apple & Buzz' summer cut, at the same time...It was buzzed on the body #7 blade, and long legs and skirt...Anyway, several months later (I'm letting it grow longer in the winter, for warmth), it's like Buzz' hair grew a full inch more, than Apples...Btw, Apple has the blue/grey thinner, silkier hair, and Buzz and the courser black hair... |

| I don't think it's a bad cut, I've just found that I like it a bit longer & her face and legs fuller. Just personal preference I guess. Lulu seems to have a very thick, cottony coat so I'm hoping her hair will grow quite fast. I'm actually thinking in a few weeks it will already look much better. Thanks for the posts & pics everyone. I'm feeling a bit better about it each day...guess I'm getting more used to it. I still want to let it grow out a bit, though.

| Lulu is very cute either way but I like the picture on the right better. I got Zoe's body clipped short about 6 weeks ago and loved it, but left her face long. Now that I see how your's looks with the face cut I will probably have that done too on Thursday. Love the look!!
