| Size does matter I am calling on the knowledge and experience that I KNOW is out there. Could you please tell me what you think of my little ones? I attached a table here with their ages and the last 3 times I weighed them. They only gained about half a pound in a month. Am I feeding them too much or is that not that much weight. I have always had small dogs but this is the first time I have had this small of a dog. Thank you everyone for your help.

| You sound like a good mommy worried your babies are growing nice and strong. I haven't had the pleasure of raising a pup, so I hope you get your answer soon. As long as your babies are fed a good quality food, and get plenty of rest and exercise, they might just be "slow bloomers."

| Thank you. Right now (if you convert it) they weigh 5lbs and 5 1/2 lbs. The breeder thought they would be around 6. They just still seem so small to me.

| 5 pounds at 5 months is a very healthy weight I wouldn't be too concerned as long as they are getting a premium food and have plenty of energy. I have a 3.5 pounder and she is 8.5 months. She is plenty healthy, just small.
