| I'm not sure if its ok or not to feed them the Natural Balance for their whole diet as a puppy...but I use it for training treats and its fine. The trainer and my vet both suggested it, so I know its ok as "sometimes" food...Hopefully someone can let you know about using it as their whole diet.

| I use Natural balance hard kibble and then give Chewy a bit of the roll either every few days or as treats while training. I have been doing this for months and he is 7 months as well. They say you can use this as primary food but I wouldn't do it. They need the kibble for their teeth and I feel the rolls are just to rich for everyday feeding. |

| I agree with others when your yorkie reaches ten months old that's when you need to make the complete switch to adult food. Smaller breed dogs mature faster then large breeds which make the switch and sxteen months of age. |

| Natural Balance roll is ok to give it to him but I think he will also need his kibble. Gucci is very picky and I have being switching foods, until i found the want she likes. She is eating now Canidae and I also add some of the Natual Balance rolls, not much cause she plumps very fast with it. When Gucci was a pup(she is 16 months now) my vet told me is best she eats her kibble but if sse is not eating it at all, to feed her some wet food so she woulndt get ill and try introducing her dry kibble mix with it. It work for a while.Good luck with your little guy. |
