| Morkie VS maltese? Whch do you guys think is cuter? My mom has just recently gotten a maltese puppy. I think he's adorable! My cousin got a Morkie a few months ago. He's blonde and he resembles a teddygram to me. Have any of you met these type of dogs? Which do you think wins the cutness face-off? |

| The problem with that comparison is that all Morkies pretty much look different.... so you can't really say which is cuter because some Morkies look ALL Yorkie, some look ALL Maltese, some look like a mix of both, etc.... but either or look pretty cute to me!

| I have 2 Morkies that are total opposites. Bogey is very much like a Yorkie except all blonde and Doodlebug is much more leaning toward the white of a Maltese. But they are both rescues and I would never purchase a "Morkie". Reputable breeders do not mix breeds to make puppies. Please consider this when making your decision to add a new member to your family. Doodlebug was a puppy rescue and Bogey was a little over a year and also a rescue. Just because you see your friend who has a Morkie does not necessarily mean that they all are alike. If you look at the pictures in my avatar you can see just how different they are. Bogey has brown eyes and a silkie coat while Dbug has black eyes and a cotton coat. You just never know what you will end up with from a mix. If you are really set on purchasing a Morkie then I would suggest a rescue. Both my Morkies are the best little guys ever. Bogey is the first picture and Dbug is the second just so that you can compare how different they are while both being a Yorkie Maltese mix.

| Morkie or Maltese I have a Morkie and as her mommy I think she is adorable. Then she does look like both her parents, daddy is a Malrese and mom is a Yorkie. Belle has the Maltese body, a mix of both type coats and her face is the impish face of the Yorkie! Her attitude is also Yorkie... She came from a litter of 7 puppies and none looked really alike. They were butterscotch colored, Yorkie colored and Belle is black and white. I also agree that almost no 2 puppies look alike. |

| I would have to pic a Yorkie, but of course, I'm a bit partial. Kind of hard to picture a "Morkie" in my head as no two look alike. |
