D Day- Round Three

I'm glad to hear she is doing well. I just got my girl spayed a couple weeks ago, and I was sooo nervous too.

All was quiet until about 6:30 this morning. Bella was whining and crying. She wouldn't allow me to catch her and she was pulling her hind feet into her belly. I knew she was in pain, so the daddy helped me gently catch her. I got her pain meds into her but it took a good hour to calm her. I had to go to work but my whole being was saying stay home. The daddy promised he would take care of her, so off to work I went. I had this feeling all morning I had this feeling that something wasn't right. I called the house to be told this by the daddy nurse: She wasn't acting right. She wasn't eating or drinking and she would try to vomit. She also was lying by the front door and wouldn't move. He thinks she is waiting for me.....ok, didn't need to hear that as it made me cry and I felt like the worst mommy ever.

I immediately call the vet which resulted in an emergency visit to the doctor, shots for the stomach and pain, an IV and nutrical sent home. The vet thinks that she is having a reaction to the anesthesia. She is doing much better now. Mommy is home now to make sure that she is being given proper amount of hugs and kisses.

I hoping she will be back to normal tommorow.

I'm sorry things were going south for you and your little girl. I hope she is doing better by now. That must have been so hard to have to leave for work when you had the feeling that you should stay home. It's like being pulled in two directions.
