Donating YT 30K Club Member | My pom did that when I got her 8 years ago. The vet gave me a powder to mix with her food and it makes their poop taste or smell bad. It worked but I heard meat tenderizer will do the same. SHe finally grew out of it after she was 4 months old and i could stop using the powder. |

| Maybe he is trying to hide the poop before gettng in trouble. I think you can add pineapple to his food or deter. You can check for other ideas here http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...ight=pineapple Good luck. |

| I recently saw an item in the Doctors Foster & Smith catalog that you add to their food. My Bentley occasionally likes to get "treats" from the cats litter box...I was looking for something to make him stop that, but he never eats his own. Marie may be on to something w/ the hiding it...

| I read that dogs eat thier poop because they can smell the protien in it. For some reason certain dog foods do not digest all the protien properly and so its comes out in the poop, the dogs smell it, and then eat it. I don't know if its true or not, but maybe its his food. HAve you changed it recently??

| I think he's doing it to get rid of the evidence, especially if he knows he's going to get reprimanded.

| Remmy did eat his poop when he was younger... I do think he knew that I was going to give him the "bad boy" talk and so he would eat his poop. But as he got older and better potty trained he quit doing this. |

| Well for moose I don't yell at her. I tell her to leave it and that mommy doesn't like poopy kisses, but I will still catch her at times making off with some
