Ha ha...the lady in the article says they are not 'rare.' somebody please get a dictionary and look up the definition of rare...something that is unusual...doesn't occur very often, right? Well, I'll go out on a limb and say I don't see these uniquely colored babies very often...that sounds pretty rare to me. I would love to have a gold or "not standard" colored Yorkie one day...but no time soon. I have my hands full now and am not about to add another sweetheart to our house if I honestly don't think I could devote the attention he/she would deserve right now. Maybe some day...:rolleyes

I even had people refuse to believe she is a purebred yorkie and I don't really care but both her parents are AKC and here are their pictures (Mom is the first one). She looks mostly like her mom but she defintitley has her father in her.

I am not an expert but I either have now, or had in the past, standard colors, parti-marked(AKC reg), choc and now a litter of Biewer/parti puppies. I also have had experience with a blue born born from a bad selection in breeding partners. Her mom just handed her to me and said Take her, she is not worth anything to me. I have posted pics of Jillian in the past and I believe there are the other dogs' pics in my album. I hae to get Villette to up-date for me. But, if anyone wants to see pics of all of these combos, feel free to e-mail me at Whispersmom2003@yahoo.com and I can send pics to you..

How did the little blue born do? I have heard of some surviving. To learn about them is so sad. If you would post on how yours did, we could all understand it a little more. Thanks so much.
