| Animals Matter vs. Snoozer booster seat...which sits higher for yorkie? Bella has short legs and she's almost 6lbs. I've been trying to decide between the Animals Matter standard companion booster or the small Snoozer Lookout. I'm putting her in the middle of the back seat and I'd like to make sure she's high enough to see out the windows. Do you know which of these seats actually allows the dog to sit up higher? I understand that the Animals Matter car seat has higher sides so I wonder if the dog actually sits lower in the seat? I need to purchase 2 seats so I'd like to get this right the first time. Based on the stats below, it looks like the Snoozer might be taller? But I've also read that the seatbelt can cause a dip in the seat making it a bit lower when the dog sits. I've also considered the console seats but we use the consoles as arm rests much of the time. Such confusion!! Thanks in advance! Animals Matter Standard = Car Seat - 21"L x 16"W x 16"H Snoozer Lookout Small = 19 in. H x 15 in. W x 17 in. D

| Ziva has a snoozer and I think she sits up higher but I like how the animalmatters is made. The seatbelt doesn't sqwish it down and the cover is way nicer looking (you can always put a pillow to bring her up higher) The "petgear" is nice (and cheaper) in the seatbelt goes underneath also and the "fido rido" looks interesting and sturdy. | We have the Lookout and love it too. I have a pretty big one though (another great find from Craigslist), and can fit multiple babies in it. I agree that the seatbelt does not smash down the seat in any way. |

| I have a snoozer and their great. I have the big long one that I think you can put several of your babies on and then I have the small one. I have a 2 pounder that has no problem looking out the window when she is in her snoozer. |

| We have a Snoozer for Bailee and we all love it. Bailee can see out the windows with no problem, and can snooze when he gets tired.

| I really like the Snoozer, have not seen the other brand you mentioned. I actually have the pet Gear and like it quite alot. I wish it was just a little deeper though. I worry an accident might have them flying but they would not be able to go too far due to the tether that attaches to their halter. It does put them up fairly high to see out the window but not even with the window.

| I love Jackson's Snoozer. It took a few days to get used to, as he learned how to jump out of it. The seatbelt tether thing kind of just slid along the seatbelt, if that makes sense, so he was still attached to it but jumped out of the seat. Anyways, Jackson is 15lbs and fits in the Medium perfectly and can lay down easily. He can also easily stick his head out the window (I know, probably not the safest, but it's the only thing he LOVES about the car now since we got into a car accident in June). I started for the first week not tethering him in and just getting him used to the seat being there and he started voluntarily going into the seat and laying down it so I know he loved it. A carseat was really important for me because he's in the car often times 4-5 days out of the week with me.

| DH ordered the luxury edition small Snoozer in Anthracite today. I'm going to put it in the SUV and see how we like it. He decided to choose for me since I couldn't make up my mind. I think we can use it in the RV as well so it should come in handy. I still need a car seat for the Murano so I'm going to wait and see how well the Snoozer works for us. Bowser's is still an option especially with that tapestry print.
