| Oh gosh, by 6 months he was definitely already 12lbs I think. Let me go look at his vet papers..... At 4 months old (Feb 09), he was 8.6lbs. And yep... at the time of his neuter at 6 1/2 months old, he was 12.5lbs.

![]() Rory "charted" to be about 6.5 lbs, but she was 10.6 lbs when spayed at 9 months. She's now a lean 12 lbs...you just never really know what will happen with their size!

Jackson stayed at 12lbs from 6 months old to a little over a year. I really thought 12-12.5lbs was his permanent weight. Then something happened and he went up to 16lbs. I have NO idea how or when that happened but we tried 3 different scales at the vets and all stated 16.1lbs. This was when he was 1 year and 3 months old. It was winter time so maybe that was a part of it (less exercise) but I think most of it was muscle mass because he never outgrew any collars, clothes or harnesses. Anyways, at the last vet visit maybe 3 months ago, he was 15.1lbs. So he's pretty much at a good weight at 15lbs.

| Thanks for sharing. Max has no muscle mass. He's like a limp baby with flailing long legs. I wanted a big yorkie to match Cooper's size, but not to overpower him! I don't think that Cooper will take any rough stuff from him anyway.
