"I am new to Yorkietalk.com and I am new to being a yorkie mom I haven't gotten my little one yet cause she is only 4 weeks old, but I only have 2 weeks left I want to be ready when she gets here so I have been looking up training tips online. I have came across trainpetdog.com and they ask for a membership fee. They sound like a really great website, and they include a lot of online books, but I wanted to see if anyone had any opinions of this website or any experience with it. Also if you have any websites you recommend your help would be greatly appreciated!"

| I have to admit to serious confusion. I have read most of the posts. In some you say Sadie is 4 weeks and then in most you say it is a miscommunication and that she is really 6 weeks. I do hope that you are following the advice and you are waiting until she is 12 weeks to get her. Trust me when I tell you I know it is difficult but it is worth it. I got 2 at once. One was 13 weeks and the other was 10. He has taught her a lot but I am sure she would have benefited from being with her mom a little more. Best Wishes on your future with your new baby.

If puppy was born August 20th then she would have been 5 weeks old Friday the 24th. Still way too young.

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Ladies, the OP knows that the pup is too young. We have all told her and tried to advise her the best we can, I myself have even told her from experience that I regret getting my Poppy at such a young age and wished I had known about the age thing and waited until she was older. Sadly I dont think the OP will listen, we will probably have a new thread in a few weeks times saying she has her pup and is having trouble with her. Its obvious that there are many flaws in her story, I hope for the pups sake she waits but for all our sanity I think we need to leave this one up to the OP.. she has been given the correct advise lets hope she takes it.

| You came here to ask for advise and knowledge? and thats what you got, wasnt it? People only care for your sake that the puppy stays with its mum untill 12weeks old, its up to you if you take the advice or not. People got confused as you kept changing the age of your pup and how many weeks you where getting her, if you had know this from the start people may have not been so confused and you wouldnt be feeling like you are now. Its a shame your going to quit the site over this as there is so much information and help you can learn and use when bringing a yorkie pup into your home. This site has been a life line to me. I wish you he best of luck in what ever you decide to do. Hope to see you back. xxxx

| I for one, hope you don't leave this site. You will need it more than ever when you do bring your baby home. It's just too often that people don't heed the advice of experienced YT owners. I for one would have loved to know my pup was too young at 8 weeks, which is what I was trying to tell you...but it got too confusing trying to follow what age she really is and what age you plan to get her. I sincerely hope you stay and wish you and Sadie the best.
