| Is this normal So yesterday I noticed Maggie has a small patch of hair missing from her nose, and like normal I went into panic mode. I looked it up on google just now, when I noticed the spot again, and there was a topic about this and someone said it was a fungus. I spot looks brownish normal, just no hair, like it never even grew, but I never noticed it. She has a dead tick on her this monring by her but, so I'm assuming the frontline worked. She also iches herself, so I never know why. This morning I hit her in the face by mistake ( Not hard ) and I felt plastic ODD. Anyways, after that she started scratching her nose area, so I'm assuming I didn't feel plasctic because she didn't start choking. |

| Without seeing the spot I couldn't tell you if its normal or a fungus, if your that concern about it you may want to take her to the vet, to have it check out. As far as itching she may have fleas, since you have frontline on her that should help, it may also be her food making her itch.

| The vet said ceasers was good to feed her, she was born in November, and I don't give it to her all the time, only sometimes and she dosn't even really eat it anymore. |

| I would gradually put her on a good kibble like natural balance or chicken soup. That should help with her itching, some yorkies are allergic to corn and over by products.

| I really don't know what to tell you about her nose, she could be scratching it and making the hair come off or it could be something else. If your that concern I would take her to your vet, but I would change her food.

| I mean I'm sure shes fine, and she will go in a few months to get fixed anyways. The vet said ceasers was fine, we also feed her which I forgot the name of it, damm. They come in oval containters, blue red, green, and yellow I believe. Some with rice and beans, and chicken and stuff. EDIT: We feed her this sometimes as well http://www.walmart.com/ip/Beneful-Pr...10-oz/11994291 Last edited by maggies-mommy; 09-25-2010 at 07:30 PM. |
