| HELP! My yorkiepoo ate a date pit My 11 month old yorkiepoo just ate a date pit! He is 7 pounds, the pit is small but with pointy ends.... Can anyone tell me what should I do? Should I wait? He acts normal so far... |

| Mine ate a prune pit at the farmers market and I only found out on her poo next morning and she was totally fine... I don't know about the pointy ends thou... call your vet and see what they think... |

| I would call your vet and get their opinion. The pointy end could be harmful to his insides. Good luck!

| I would call the Poison Control hotline right away. Many pits like avocado, peach, pear, plums, and apricot contain cyanide, which is poisonous to dogs. |

| Just want to let you all know, I inspected every poop my dog made closely after the incident, I finally found the date pit yesterday! and he is doing fine. Thanks for all the advices! |
