Shannon, Princess is beautiful. She's too cute. I doubt that she won't grow anymore thuogh, because they grow for a few month more. Coco was like 1 lbs 10oz at 5 months, and now by almost 9 months, she is 3lbs and 5oz. They do grow for I believe at least 7-8 months if not longer. At least that's the consensus that I've gotten from other yorkie owners. So be prepared for her to grow a bit more. It would be rare for her not to because they hit another growth spurt at 6 months.

I am not sure but Maximus was less them 3 lbs at 5 months and now he is over 8 lbs at 10 months so you never know!!!

I heard that if you take the weight at 8 weeks and multiply that by 3 or take the weight at 12 weeks and times that by 2 that gives you an approxmitae weight at fully grown.

I have heard that too..but Maximus was 2 lbs at 13 weeks...he was really little until about 6 months (he starting gaining about a lb every 2-3 weeks...lol) and he is now around 8.5 lbs at 10 months

I have heard that after they have their adult teeth (7 or 8 mos typically) in they quit growing in height and length, but they continue to "fill out" for a while longer. Hefner was 4.5 lbs at 7 months and he is only 4.1 now so he settled in an lost weight. Chai was 2.5 at 5 months and now she is 3.9. She is long so, even though her features are very small she is weighs a little more than she looks like she does.

Your baby is so Cute!! My Cricket is 5lbs. and she was 4 1/2 lbs at 5 months and has only gained 1/2 lb. and she's 11 months. Bubba was 8 lbs at 5 months and now weighs 9 lbs. I think the smaller they are when young, the less likely to grow too much more. JMO though.
