| Hair question... I just wanted to get an idea of how many of you leave your babies hair short all the time? I LOVE the look of Roxie with shorter hair, but I am toying with the idea of letting her hair grow long in the winter, and keeping it shorter in summer. What do you guys do? Thanks! |

| Right now Zach still has his baby hair and he hasn't had it cut yet. I was waiting for his final vaccination so I could take him to a groomer. I don't think I would keep Zach's hair short all the time though. I love Yorkie's hair it's so beautiful when it's long but if it gets out of hand I might think about keeping it short at least for the summer. It's a little too cold in New York to keep it short in the winter even though he has sweaters and coats. |

| I groom my dogs myself. I keep Rily and Saydee both in a modified lion/schnauzer cut because they have thick cottony coats. Minnie Mia's coat is thinner, so I may let hers grow a little longer. It really depends on how much time you have for daily grooming. I really don't have the time to brush all three dogs the way they would need to be brushed everyday...and I don't show them either. I also like for mine to wear clothes.

| I have kept Ziva's hair short (doing it myself) because it is hot here, and her puppy coat was so fine- but she was cold last winter so I am letting it grow out now, guess I'll get the hang of when to stop cutting so she has enough hair for winter. I'll get her groomed in the spring and then follow thru myself. The boys didn't like her topknot so I cut her head short again. |

| Madison is always short. She just doesn't have the coat type (not sure what her coat type is though) for it I guess. It just looks dull, and kinda curls a little. I think I'm going to let Chance grow out and see what happens with him, so I'm not sure about him yet.
