Chloe is acting funny today? I left her home this morning for two hours until my husband went home for lunch at 11:00 and he played with her then I came home at 12:00 and played with her and she was just fine. I brought her to work with me after lunch and the whole afternoon all she wants me to do is hold her. I put her down and she walked over to her food and started pushing it with her nose and I remembered that she hadnt eaten much since I fed her breakfast at 7:30. She wouldnt eat her food out of her bowl she wanted me to feed it to her by hand so i put some in my hand and she ate it just fine. She has never done this and I dont know what is wrong with her maybe she knows its Halloween and she is afraid!! LOL Have any of your babies ever done this before I dont know if I want to feed her by hand everyday but I guess if I have to I will.

Ours get needy of attention every once in awhile and want me to slide it on the floor or feed it to them. Then they will eat just fine. They are both under 1 year.

Porscha got some teeth pulled the other day so I wetted down her dry food but she wouldn't touch it so I tried it on a fork and sure enough she ate, who knows why!

For a VERY long time I hand fed my three -- one piece at a time until each was full. It was a relaxing and bonding time for me. Unfortunately (for me) they have now decided that the one piece at a time is much too slow and they prefer to eat out of their bowls.

Yes, I think they all have times when food isn't all that interesting. Chloe used to take one kibble and throw it around before eating it. Took her forever to finish. Then, Lacey has decided to stay with me like glue, so if I don't put the food in my hand on crouch on the floor and encourage her to eat, she just sniffs it and follows me, so I too, use it as a bonding time.
