				   | Hi everyone I am getting my new fur baby on Wednesday and am so excited! I am also a little scared as it has been 13 years since I trained a puppy. This is my first Yorkie. I had a King Charles Cavalier, but he passed away in August. I would appreciate any advise anyone can give me. Thanks |

				   | Congratulations. You will learn a lot reading the postings on this site. I also just got a puppy after 13 years, my 16 y/o yorkie died in July. This little fellow sure has cheered me up. And what fun. We are so very happy we made the decision to get another pup

				   | Thanks guys. It is so reassuring to have people with the same outlook as yourself. I have been told I was crazy to get another dog. I feel I have so much love in my heart for dogs that it would be an injustice if I didn't get another one. I am so anxious to meet my little one on Wednesday. I have a choice on a male or female. Does anyone have an opinion on which makes the better companion. I am a firm beleiver that dogs as well as children learn what live with. I am going to meet both and see which one reacts best with me. I am so tempted to take both But.....Hubby says no. |

				   | Welcome aboard! You will love love yorkies! I've had poodles, pekenese and mutts Mabel is my first yorkie and i just never ever get tired of looking at her!(not to mention all the little fur dolls on this site!!!) And I do not blame you for getting another dog after the heartbreak of losing one...I really feel like the only thing that can fill that hole in your heart is another furball. Of course your newbie won't replace your lost baby but will surely help you heal and open up a whole new wonderful world of yorkies! soon you will be as crazy as the rest of us on YT!

				   | I'm sure you will love any baby you choose. I've had four Yorkies, and they were all everything I could have wished for. I am very sorry about the passing of your little boy. Cavaliers are wonderful dogs also. We lost our last Yorkie in June, and although we have not gotten another baby yet, I agree with you about it being an injustice not having one in your life to love. I hope your new baby brings you much love and happiness. |
