| The only time I can get "normal" pictures, without the green or red eyes (Lil Bit's are red and Beamer's are green) is to take the picture without the flash.

| No will always flash green. Depends on the lighting though. Soemtimes green flash doesn't show up. Or use natural light, but even Uni's reflect green in sunlight sometimes.

| Wow! It really is blue! Does this apply to any other breeds?....or even any other animals?....my cat's eyes glow green or sometimes yellow. But I never paid too much attention to it. I thought of it like how we get "red eye"....but just for dogs/ cats. |

| You usually can't tell from the flash until the puppy is a little older. Usually between 4 and 6 months. This is some information that I got on the flash trick from another site: I have found this to be pretty true also ~ When you take a picture of your puppy when the flash hits the eye's and it is green on the picture (is usually a true silk) Yellow modified silk~ Red=Soft coat or cotton coat If there is a definite line on your puppy's belly that separates the black and tan, then that is the best indicator that you have one with a silky coat. Quoted from another site: "I check the temples and the chest the most. The chest will have a definite line where the tan is, you will be able to see a tan line across the chest instead of it being intermingled with the blue coat around it, it is just more defined." (: I actually prefer the soft coat in puppies, just my preference. But I realize that a silky coat is the best representation by the guidelines. I love them all; who am I kidding? (;
