YorkieTalk Newbie! | Help My Yorkie Find Himself I purchased a 2 year old Yorkie that was neglected from one of my daughters friends. He is very much loved here in my house. The people I recieved him from said they had papers on him, but now they can't find them. Also, they don't remeber who the breeded was. I don't think they ever registed him, but I would like to. They said he's a purebred. I would like to know for sure. Can anyone give me advice on how to go about doing this? I'm looking to register and find out if he's Pure Yorkie... Thanks |

| Hello and Welcome to YorkieTalk. So glad you took the little one in. I do not know how to find out the information, if you do not know the breeder's name, but hopefully someone else can help you with this. Good luck with this.

| I dont think you can register him if you have not got the papers? If you post some pictures of him and we can all see what he looks like, some of the breeders here on yorkie talk might be able to help you by just looking at your little one. X x

| you cannot register him with AKC because you don't have the papers and that means you don't have the proof he is yours my grandmother just went through this with a sheltie she got from a abusive home they told her she had to have a signed paper from the people she got the dog from and the original akc papers from the breeder
