| Well, I prefer male dogs, I am biased tho. Because I have never had a girl dog. The breeder might give you some insight on each puppies behavior because they have had time to observe them.

| My husband is thinking of getting a great dane. I asked my vet whether a male or female dog is better. He said it depends on what type of breed. If you're looking for a guard dog, choose a female dog. He said female dog is more possessive and protective over their owner and not easy to be bribed. He said as for toy dog, either one is ok. |
