Yorkie Yakker | hair growth I'm letting Yoda grow his hair out. I have always kept it cut short, but my real question is, so they always look like wet rats when their hair is growing? Should i still take him in to be trimmed or just keep him brushed like I have been to keep his hair from knotting? It just looks funny is all

| Maximo went through somewhat of an awkward stage when his hair was growing. I thought he looked like a cute Muppet, usually Animal. The worst part was dealing with hair that was too short to put up in a topknot, but long enough to stick into his eyes. Keep brushing and combing. |

| Growing out coat takes a lot of patience. You have to train yourself to think about how the final outcome will look like. Just like growing out your own hair from a short do. Just keep your pup combed and free of mats.

I love Animal. Rhett's definitely got his eyebrows going on right now.

| kkk.... how cute! I put some organic gel on one of my boy's front hair to prevent it from getting into his eyes. Sometimes I make his front hair to look like mary's from "there's something about mary"
