How much you willing to spend on doggie clothes?

I am ashamed to say I've spent over a thousand on clothes, collars and harnesses. But then I have no kids and I'm single. Guess that's why I am still working and not retired.

I admit, I'm cheap when it comes to dog clothes. No more than 10 bucks, with limited exceptions (the NFL shirt I'm ordering for Rhett )

Oh my.. I use to spend SO much on my yorkies. Isn't amazing how much we're willing to spend on our little furbabies? I have no problem spending $50 on a quality item. I wish I had the cash to spend over $100.. because I would! haha

I find this topic interesting as a retailer because I carry very few shirts for $10 or coats/sweaters for $20 or less. The reason behind this is that I would rather carry higher quality products at a higher price point. If I was to sell shirts for $10 or coats/sweaters for $20 the quality would be extremely lacking. I am willing to spend more for quality. I believe it pays for itself in the long run. A sale never hurts either!

It depends. Honestly, some of my favorite things of his were cheap, and they've lasted us since he was a pup. Example... Walgreens and CVS carry dog beds for $10. I have one really huge rectangle shaped one (black and white pattern), 2 little square shaped ones, and 1 oval one. They're all pretty cute too. They are just as good as the beds I see in our specialty pet store that are over $50 AND they have lasted us almost 2 years now. So I get 4 beds for $40 that we use all over the house, rather than paying $40 or more for ONE that is of nearly the same quality. So to me, high price doesn't always equal quality. Also, the winter jacket he pretty much wore all winter through heeps and heeps of snow... was like $10 from Walmart and he will continue to wear it this winter because I haven't found much else that is that much better.

I agree with Brit.
A custom pair of jammies made to fit Kaji's size were around $15 each. Good quality for less than $20 each and custom made. Plus, my favorite sweaters come from Old Navy and they retail for $10. They are good quality and are cut perfectly for a boy dog (biggest issues I have found). They have cute shirts too for around $5. Bigger price tag doesn't always mean better quality.

kkk... buying my babies clothes is one of the reasons why I shop much less for myslef. I made bunch of mistakes knitting their sweaters until I got hold it
I have little monsters and stuffed bed won't last a week, they think it's just BIG stuffed toy. They don't sleep on it, they chew it till all stuffings come out.
