Fynnlie NEVER goes outside without being on his harness, muchless with out me being there with him. I've done a little research on the Lepto and I'm not terribly thrilled with it. Yea, Fynn's going to get his rabies at a different time than anything else, even if that means I have to spend the 34$ for an office visit twice!

mine just got his second series yesterday and now he runs and hides from me...i feel so bad...cause when they gave it to him he cried and then looked up at me like saying "how could you let them do this to me" but it is for his own good and cause city requires it...

Oh, I'm sorry! Fynn didn't seem to mind it after it was over... It was just the GETTING of the shots that he didn't like.

He was a little tender this morning and whined when I picked him up but aside from that, he seems to be doing just fine!

Just so you know, my vet doesn't charge an office visit fee for the second time in the two-four week period. However, they charge it as a "wellness exam", which mine don't get the on the second visit.

Just as an extra thing to think about with the rabies vaccine. I have Bentley get a benadryl shot first before the rabies in case of an inadvertent reaction. I don't give Bentley lepto and no corona as per his breeder. And I definitely would wait the 2 - 4 weeks in between vaccinations. Next year he will need a booster but I am having the titers test done first...if the antibodies are still enough in him he won't need a booster for a particular vaccine.

Oops, forgot to mention that. Addie gets a benadryl shot, but Mia and Dany don't as they never had adverse reactions. make sure you can get back to the vet asap if something goes wrong. It's why I try to get appts. in the morning-to make sure they're still open if I need them.
