When I had my first Yorkie, Penni, a few weeks later we got Tuppence.
Tuppence was really tiny, and guess what? Penni was always my baby and Tuppence was Bruce's. He didn't feel at all self conscious taking a tiny one for walks.

I agree! When I began my new job, i finally had to "come out" and let them know that I was the father to Hugo! Then I had to do it...I decorated my office with his pictures! My co-workers, as much as I loved them would give me that oh goodness he is on the yorkie soapbox. Then one day I brought him to work before his grooming appointment, and boy oh boy did my co-workers love Hugo and can not wait till I bring him back again!

I am a man, and I have my furbaby. I love him to pieces. I have carriers, clothes, coats, sweaters, and dare i say booties. I love him and had I been a heterosexual man, I will still do the same thing for Hugo!

I'm a straight man, married grandfather and have a Yorkie. He rides everywhere with me in my pickup and is a great watchdog. To me, the size of the dog doesn't really matter and I've had all types. I have dogs for companionship, not to show how macho I am or to make up for any...uh...shortcomings. Anyone who thinks having a big aggressive dog makes them more of a man has some deep issues.
I love all dogs.
