| Hi and welcome to both of you. Yorkies are amazing, loving dogs. I have two and love them so much. This site is just fantastic, you will learn a lot just from reading through all these posts. Yorkies are small, delicate, do not like to be left alone and are a little harder to housebreak than larger dogs. So be prepared. Have fun searching. There are quite a lot of great, reputable (I have found, here, that that word - reputable - is very important) breeders on this site. Take your time - it will be all worth it in the end. Good luck! |

| I got my first YT 9 years ago. I had always had large dogs before that. She is smarter than any dog I have ever had, has a bit of an additude (just like me), and is so very independent. She thinks she is a big dog and barks like one instead of having a little yap yap bark like lots of smaller dogs. I will never, ever be without a Yorkie as long as I can have one. You will love it !! |
