I've been trimming Max's ears and taping them. After I take the tape off they stand up for about an hour. I just bought some cottage cheese and yogurt. And if they never stand up so be it!

| My Little Jackie's ears were up when I first got her. When she started teething they went down. Once finished teething they were up. She got stung by a bee and they went down again. The vet said with pain they fall down sometimes. Now she is 3 yrs. old and they are standing up all the time, Do not worry,it will all work out to be fine.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Can you post a pic? Yes you need to shave the ears. The hair on them can weigh them down. You can also tape the ears and it will help them stand. I have seen some that will never stand because they are to big.

| I've heard rave reviews on the Mack 3 razor to shave a Yorkie's ears. I haven't done it yet, but I was told to shave the inside when she is calm and asleep, and shave the tips with 2 swifts of the razor. Also, we are approaching the time for a puppy cut. Will they be plucking her ear hair???

| Has anyone ever had the ears come up after they were full grown? Either with or without taping? |
