| I did it...lol.. I did it..I finally got up the nerve to save myself some money and groom Roxie myself, granted Im keeping her hair short,so it wasnt very hard, but I am so PROUD of myself..lol..I do need some links or video links on how to shape her face. I am going to let her top knot grow back out, but keeping her body shorter. I will post pictures when I get home from work today. |

| That's great! You will save so much money! I groom my two myself, and while it's not perfect... It's honestly better than sending them off to the groomer where they are scared and never get the cut I want

| Congrats! I sooo wish I could muster up the courage. All I do is trim around his eyes and his butt, LOL. However, I'm very lucky I found an amazing mobile groomer who comes right to our house, he loves her, she's great with him, and he's done within 45 minutes! It's a nice chunk of change ($55 plus I give her a $10 tip!) and I try to get him done every 10 weeks, but it's worth it to me to see him happy and lookin' good. However, I would LOVE to save the money and learn myself. I just don't think I'd be any good.

| How do you get yours to be still so that you can trim the butt area. I would love to do that but mine will not be still. I found a really nice groomer who does everything for them grooming wise for 38. My 2 are going for their first Groomers visit in 2 weeks. She only charges 21 for the first time and does what she calls a "mini-groom" since their hair is not all that long yet. I went to her salon and she talked to me and let me watch her some. Both her and the other employee were very nice to me and the dogs they were grooming. We will see how my 2 handle it.

| Honestly I had my 8 year old daughter help me hold her still, and she did suprisingly well. I was so proud of her , it was almost as if she enjoyed it..lol...And thanks for the above video links as well, cannot wait to check those out! I didnt do perfect on her grooming, but I think with time I can get better, I am still proud that I even attempted it,lol, I kept telling myself that if it didnt look better it would grow out with time.lol. |
