Does anyone know anything about Tiny Teacups world in AZ?
 
Does anybody know anything about tiny teacup world? the web address is Home we looked for reviews to see if there were any red flags and couldn't find them on the USDA puppy mill site. Any thought?? Thanks for your help

The first clue that this is a place to avoid is on the home page.

Teacup, micro and pocket pups are all code words for dogs that are too small. AKC doesn't recognize a "teacup" distinction. And a really good breeder wouldn't sell such small dogs because they are at much higher risk for long term health problems.

I couldnt get past the homepage..."you'll never find smaller..." A reputable breeder does not intentionally breed for tinies. I would advise against this website.

Red flags all over and teaCup breeding ... Shipping ... to many things a careful reputable breeder avoid.

You have another thread asking about a breeder in Missouri. Several yt members warned you to stay away from that breeder and to be aware of key words disreputable breeders use as marketing ploys, words like teacup, micro, mini, etc.

I can not stress to you strongly enough to please read what others posted to you. Educate yourself much further before purchasing your new puppy.....it could save you much heartache later on!

I wholeheartedly agree. In your other thread you were given great info on how to find a reputable breeder in your area. #1 rule is to buy local, so you can check everything out personally. #2 Buy your breeder first, and then the puppy. You want to find someone that will be there for you for at least 15+ years. Someone who will take back a puppy at any point in the puppy's life. Please read all the stickies at the top of the "For Sale" forum. It has a lot of helpful information.

Wow 40%.....off your next pup? More money. Reputable breeders will always reduce fee to repeat buyers. However, they will access a situation, if a pet was lost through an accident before placing another pet with the pet owners.

Others have already given you excellent advice. Micro mini, teacup, are definate red flags....but, that maybe what attracted you to this breeder.....You need to do some more research in these tinies. And remember no reputable breeds for tinies or will sell tinies, they are placed in preapproved homes, that understand the care of tinies, at no fee. As these breeders do not want to sell the possibility of heartache.

My suggestion would be to look at breeders locally. There are plenty of breeders in Ma, RI, CT, NH that are in driving distant to you. Stay away from anyone that even mentions the word "teacup".

I agree. Please read the links posted in your other thread. You are looking for a puppy in the wrong places.

This one appears to be a broker:

"often times we purchase them from home based hobby
breeders"

"We deal with many large and small breeders"

It\'s human nature and very common for new potential yorkie owners to want a teacup. But, one must understand all the potential problems and work that comes with them. As well as the fact that no reputable breeder intentially breeds for them. Although, at times an over sized or a tiny will be produced.

But, besides the knowledge of health issues, a reputable breeder will not sell these puppies, but place them in a knowlegable, caring home that understands these issues.
