| I can understand that. I mean, Best Buy isn't really a place for dogs, imo. Expensive electronics, carpeted floors... don't always match. I've always believed that it's not fair to be allowed to bring a small dog in, but have a Golden or a Great Dane for example, be denied. It seems fair to me.

That's why it's always a good idea to ask before trying to bring your dog into a store. | |

| I can understand a big dog like a lab or great dane etc but a small dog that you are carrying in your arms? Hummm dont really seem that fair to me, how many people can carry a lab or great dane in there handbag or in their arms? If the dog is on a lead running around the shop floor then fair enough, but when your carrying her into a electronics store in your arms then i dont really see a problem! Means less buisness for them really because its not like we would want to leave them outside the shop. Just my opinion lol xxxx

I was at Best Buy today. While I was there, a child spilled his soda all over a lap top...

| i do understand better after he explain today but yesterday he was just rude and said it was because they now have snacks well as i said before i have took her in there about 4 or 5 times before yesterday so from now on if we need anything from best buy we will be going to another one about 40 miles away i called today and they said she would be welcome as long as i was carrying her in my arms but i do understand with petsmart just a few door down you can't have all of the big dogs in there and fair is fair for all. the man at the door was just rude yesterday and the manger did apologize to me as the man was off today

I work at a sporting goods store right next to a Petsmart, and I actually get kind of annoyed when customers bring their dogs into the store. (Maybe this is due to the fact that I don't take my dogs to stores with me.) I have NEVER had anyone ask if they could bring their dog in, and when I tell them that their pet isn't allowed, they ignore me or throw a fit! If a great dane isn't allowed in the store, a yorkie shouldn't be allowed either. I hate to say it, but a sporting goods store is just not the place to be walking a dog around. And I honestly don't want to be the one to clean up after them, because unfortunately we all know how a lot of dog owners can be..

| If you allow little dogs and not large dogs, where do you draw the line? I would hate to have to be the dog police and make those decisions. What if the little dog owner sets their dog down for a minute and it makes a mess on the floor? And some dog owners would. Better to just make a blanket rule, all dogs or no dogs. I've seen well behaved big dogs and some really rotten tinies. Just like kids. Personally, I'd like to shop in a store that allowed dogs and no kids (my dogs don't blow snot)...but that's just me.

| I don't take Roxie into any stores, other than Petsmart. The one time we did, (it was Party City) we were asked to take her out. I just don't bother anymore.
