| Im such an idiot..... I have a webcam setup at home to watch my Brandi. I pretty much know schedule so I know what time she wakes. She usually sleeps all day and will wake up around 1:00 to eat, and try to escape (after all this time, she still tries to escape). Anyway I noticed on Friday she laid in the same position all day without moving. I really didn't think much of it until I got back from a 3 hr meeting. I checked the webcam and noticed she was still in the same position. Well of course you know I panicked and was getting ready to leave work and go home. I just knew she had died. Then I remember that sometimes by webcam acts up and when that happens, it it freezes on whatever the last stream was. It just needs to be restarted every now and then. I restarted the camera and she was jumping up and down looking for a way to escape.I felt like an idiot.....I have to stop looking at the webcam but to be honest I think I am addicted to watching her on the webcam. Even my cat has a cameo every now and then. |

Whew, glad that had a happy ending! I know how you feel. Even now, sometimes I see Thor taking a nap, and I think OMG, he's not breathing. I poke him, and he looks at me as if to say, "No, not dead. Just annoyed."

lol I do the same thing too. Ughhhh I hate loving her so much sometimes. She brings me so much joy but I worry about her so much. Im not like this with my cat except when she was a kitten, I treated her the same way I treat Brandi now. I think my cat is so much more independent that she only needs me when she is hungry or if her cat litter needs to be changed. But Brandi is so much more needy and I think thats why I am so protective of her. I love them both very much. | |

| Add me to the paranoid mommy list. I concentrate on Kaji's chest sometimes to see if he's breathing. I get the deep sigh if I disturb him even slightly.

| OMG! How scary! Glad everything was ok! I worry all the time when Roxie lays in one position too long. I always go over and bother her...and then I get the annoyed look from her.
