| ![]() I agree with crate training but he might be a little too young unless you are willing to wake up every couple of hours to take him outside. If not, crate training might backfire if he started doing his business inside the crate. I think maybe you should do this in stages. Hold the crate training until he is a little older. This is what I did. I bought a used playpen (for human child) from my breeder. She picked it up at a yard sale for $15 and sold to me at cost. I then bought a bed that fills up half the playpen and put potty pad on the other half. My baby never once wet the bed and immediately started going on the potty pad. Instant success. |

| ![]() Well I have a play pin that my son doesn't use anymore so I used that and it's wonderful. It gives my Beya enough room to play with her toys and I leave a small ball with a bell inside the pin so when Beya wakes up I hear her, I get her and tell her outside cause thats the first thing they do when they wake up is use the restroom, let her walk to the door and let her out with the "finish" word and thats is she goes quick. She wakes me up in the night when she needs go. Check her out in her pictures she loves the pin. Its like her own little room. Its to Cute. ![]()

| ![]() I agree with everyone else on the crate training ![]() Have you tried to wear him out by playing with him before he goes to bed? I think this might reduce the amount of energy he has and he might go to sleep a lot better for you...

| ![]() Hi Annie! I'm a newbie too, our little Harlie is 10 weeks old. We were told about crating also and a friend brought over one that they had used for their little poodle. We cleaned it up real good and replaced her box with it. She loves it! She likes the closed in feeling when it's bed time. So yes, +1 for the crate. Don |

| ![]() I don't do the crate, just my preference. I use a PetGear playpen. It keeps Lulu safe & she actually loves it. She goes in all by herself when it's bedtime. The only time she doesn't like it is when we leave her...but she just doesn't like to be left alone. ![]() Good luck with your baby. Take special care of her...she's so very young.

| ![]() OOOPS! Sorry! I mis-read your post. Thought you were asking how to get your pup to sleep with 'you in your bed'. LOL
