Senior Yorkie Talker | LEts Talk Yorkie Barks So i brought Brooklynn over to my cousin's house who has a adult female yorkie to let them play around a bit. At first they played rough and we had to monitor them and then everything was a little better ( still with monitoring). Now CHANEL is grown( maybe 10 months) and she has the smallest bark ever. I mean its TINY! and then you have my 3 months old Brooklynn who sounds like a bully because she got a serious bark on her( no she does bark at home all day. she actually quiet until you get her very excited). How is this possible!

| Teegy is a wee bit on the higher pitch scale, my friends female yorkie has a deeper sounding bark than his. What I love is when two Yorkies get together and have a little conversation, with heads tilting from side to side. |

| Me too! And for some reason if I am in the kitchen and Beamer is next to me I will pass him a treat down, and next thing I know Lil Bit is there for a treat too. They obviously have some kind of telepathic communication going

| So I've brought Harley to my grandparents house several times... and they have a massive boarder collie. Blackie is about 80lbs. So ofcourse all play is monitored, and on leads. So Harley's been there and met Blackie, and Harley is not a barker. The other day we went, and I carried Harley's crate into the house, and I heard Harley growling in his crate as we walked by Blackie outside. I didn't think much of it, so I got Harley settled in and brought in Blackie. (remember this is Blackie's home) Blackie walks in Harley plops himself on the middle of the kitchen floor and starts barking at Blackie (and subsequently vibrating backwards while barking). Blackie who normally loves Harley, starts to walk by him, and then darts to the corner, barks once or twice, and lays down, Harley just keeps a barking. It was priceless. Like I said Harley doesn't bark. I let him do this because Blackie isn't the best trained dog in the world, especially when it comes to meeting other dogs, I wanted Harley to put him in his place and teach him how to meet a new dog, I just expected Harley to be the nervous one. I just can't imagine why a 80lb dog would be scared of a 3lb sqeak toy,... (ok not the nicest name for Harley but it was true in that situation) Like I said, priceless. We shall bring a video camera next time he goes to visit.

Senior Yorkie Talker | NOW i know they screamed because when Brooklynn got that Rabies shot she yelped so loud i was ready to get the vet lol. SMH @ me being an over protective mom lol. But i notice that Brooklynn is a true NJ/NYer and does not back down either. Chanel was all over Brooklynn for about 20 minutes but then things changed and Chanel was now running and Brooklynn was the aggressor

| I played that happening in my head also, and it brought a smile to my face. Khloe likes to bully around two 70 pound Border Collies. They are very well trained, and they don't pay her any mind, but I love a small dog that can stand their ground. She mildly barks and growls during play time when we get her excited, but other than that, she makes the most awful sounds when she dreams. I don't sleep very sound, and I have to peek in her crate to make sure that she is alright. Does anyone else experience this? It scares the daylights out of me to hear her while she dreams, and it's hard to explain what is sounds like, except choppy whelps (and someone else can probably describe the noise better than me).

| ... Yes poor Harley provides us with lots of amusement when he barks, he litterally does vibrate backwards, it's pitiful, he really doesn't know how to bark and stand at the same time... silly puppy. I woke up one night to an awful cry from Harley, matt and I both ran to his crate, and he was sound asleep, it's only ever happened once, but we just assumed he was dreaming.
