| bike riding Does anyone take their Yorkie bike riding? With my son starting school, I'm going to have some more time to myself and I wanted to start riding my bike again. I bought this basket Pet Bike Basket - Dog.com and am going to try it out tonight around the neighborhood. This seems to be a nice basket and I've let Ruby get in it and she sits in there fine, I just don't know what her reaction will be once we get on the road. I'm going to start slowly, but I hope she enjoys it because I need to get out from in front of this computer. Also, do you think I should get her some Doggles??? Leslie |

| There was a thread just recently about someone who takes their dog's bike riding. There was an incredibly beautiful photo as well, and the dogs were both wearing little helmets. I'll try to find that thread for you. I just can't remember who it was. EDIT: that was easy to find http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...my-yorkie.html

| oh dear, no I didn't mean that to be rude. Yorkietalk is such a popular site, that whenever I am looking for something I go to google and type in what i'm looking for. So, i typed 'yorkietalk bike riding'. I only meant it's easy because google loves YT.

Oh, no. I didn't think you were being rude at all. I was just commenting that I should have looked around a bit. Aack, things sometimes don't come out right in writing. But I did check out that link and loved the pix!! Those helmets were too cute(something else to add to my wishlist) I don't have a camera right now because my husband took it to work and uses it there. I did order another one this weekend so as soon as it comes in I will post some pix of Ruby in her basket. I hope she enjoys it becuase I can't bear to leave her at home.

| Have you considered the Cart that goes on the back of the bike, the ones where parents put their little kid in. Room, netted, she can't get out, if you fall, she will not, and your legs get more of a workout. You could also have a Laptop holder rigged to your handlebars with a wireless link and voice activated command software. Never leave home without YT! |

LOL. We have one of those carts, we used it for our son. Honestly, my legs couldn't take it. I'm going to have to start slow. As far as the laptop... I'm liking it... maybe I could do some live streaming of our rides
