Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | I didnt know dogs could get the hiccups! I was in shock yesterday when Poppy suddenly started hiccuping She wasnt making the noise just the movement.. It lasted for about 3-5 minutes and was too cute Has your pooch ever gotten the hiccups? EDIT: Oh and incase anyone thinks she was heaving to be sick she deffo wasnt. [thought I would add that incase anyone was worried!]

YT 500 Club Member | oh ya lol the first time Penny got the hiccups it was one of our 3 am potty breaks and she was out in the middle of the lawn well they scared her so bad she TOTALLY shut down..would not move I had to go out in my pj's in the rain pick her up wrap her in a towel and she freaked out for like 5 minutes i had to hold her and talk to her she IS the worlds biggest drama queen

| Yep, they can... When one of ours gets the hiccups we just cradle them in one arm on their back and rub their tummy...the hiccups disappear in very short order...works everytime. I couldn't do it for the longest time...seemed like my husband had the magic touch...but I'm good now! |

| i didn' kno dogs could git the hiccups! My two girls get the hiccups evey once in a while they last about three to five minutes. At first I thought omg what it happening to her then I realized what was going on but they didn't last too long. Linda, Sassy, and Patti |

| Yup, Buster has had the hiccups. I don't know what he was doing when he got them but they didn't seem to last long.

| Ivan, my Biewer, gets them about once a month. All three of my dogs burp, too. Everytime they eat, they burp when they are done.

| Both of mine get them. Pippin's breeder actually told me he got them before we took him home. I probably would have been worried the first time it happened if she hadn't warned me. |

| my puppies(who are not Yorkies) would get them almost once a day when the wear young but they seemed to have grown out it thinking back i cant think of them getting the hiccups in nearly 5 months they just turned a year this week
